Troops of 93 Battalion Takum while conducting Exercise Ayem Akpatuma on Sunday, April 8, following a tip off arrested a criminal informant trying to identify a person to be eliminated in a vehicle along Takum-Chanchangi road in Taraba state.
The suspect was heard by a commuter talking to one Mallam Musa Ibrahim to identify the person to be eliminated for reasons best known to him.

According to a statement sent to NAIJ.com by the director army public relations, Brigadier-General Texas Chukwu, the information was secretly revealed to troops, who trailed the vehicle and arrest the informant.
During interrogation, the suspect confessed to be an informant to criminals in the general area to perpetrate criminal activities.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army has announced that Exercise Ayem Akpatuma will be extended for two months in Taraba state.
This was disclosed in a statement sent to NAIJ.com by Brigadier-General Texas Chukwu, on Monday, April 2. According to the statement, the exercise needs to be sustained in some areas in other to consolidate on the initial gains.
